The lineup for the OHIO NATIONAL BROWN SWISS SALE proved to be equally as impressive as the advertisement and catalogs. The concluding act for the 2008 National Brown Swiss Convention attracted buyers from 19 states across the nation including California to Massachusetts and Oregon to Georgia as well as international buyers from British Columbia and Dominican Republic. The final average of $7,737.00 on 86 live animals resulted in both the highest averaging and highest dollar volume National Brown Swiss Sale on record. Sixteen lots sold for over $10,000. including a number taken by “brand new” Brown Swiss breeders.

Round Hill Prem Lil Fern ET started the second half of the sale at $43,000 and was top seller of the day while setting a new breed record for females sold in a National Sale. Fern  is a fancy two year old Top Acres EP Premium ET daughter bred by Bill and Cindy Warner and consigned by Brothers Three Brown Swiss and Ryan Olson, Fort Atkinson, WI.
