The 2007 Midwest Revue started on a positive note when Lot #1, Old Mill PT Shazam ET, opened the sale at $26,000. This lovely uddered two year old Bridge View Primetime daughter of the six time All American Old Mill E Snickerdoodle OCS was purchased by Ron Strauss, Fredonia, WI and consigned by Jason and Jenna Hoffman, Mingo, Ohio.

The sale topper came midway thru when Top Acres Pilot Suki ET OCS commanded $35,000 from New View Swiss, Mechanicsburg, Ohio. This All American from a two time All American dam was consigned by Top Acres, St. Paris, Ohio. The contenders on Suki were Ken Main and Peter Vail for their Elite Dairy in Copake, NY. They in turn were successful buyers of Alfa Creek Jamarr Holly, an impressive high indexing contract cow with show potential as well. Holly brought in $18,000 for her consignors, Alfa Creek Farm, Andover, Ohio with Nor-Bert Farms, Ltd , Bremen, Indiana contending.

Another All American nominated show heifer, Top Acres Andre Whisper ET, was purchased by Ken Main and Peter Vail for $12,500. A daughter of Top Acres EJ Whizzbang "5E93", Whisper was consigned by junior member Paul Keener, West Salem, Ohio.

Other high quality consignments included several with blue ribbon appeal. Four purchases from The Revue won their class at The Spring National Show held Saturday, March 31. Topping the heifer classes as Junior Champ of the open show, Blessing Denver Cassie ET is a December 2006 Denver daughter purchased and exhibited by Starmark Farm, Wooster, Ohio. This winner was consigned by Blessing Farms, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Also coming from the sale, GS Legacy Dime ET won her class in both the open and junior shows for Paul Keener, West Salem, Ohio. Tracey Hunt, New Windsor, Maryland was the consignor of this special spring yearling.

A successful annual event, The Midwest Revue has been held in conjunction with The Spring Dairy Expo in recent years. The sale is managed by Modern Associates, St. Paris, Ohio. The dedicated sales force included Darrell Worden, Tim Eiting, Brian Garrison, Lee Barber and Wayne Sliker.
