The Midwest Revue Sale was moved to the Spring Dairy Expo when the spring show was founded in 1990. This year marked the 20th anniversary for the sale held annually in conjunction with the Expo at the Ohio State Fairgrounds. The overall average was $3,245 with cattle selling to10 states.

Topping the day at $13,500, Jerland Starsky Fauna ET is a fancy bred heifer sired by Old Mill TA Starsky ET and from Mort Tower Frisky “3E94”. Frisky is a 3 time All American as well as the Grand Champion at Madison in 2001. She was also the National Total Performance Winner for 2002. Fauna was purchased by Chris Durbin, Leitchfield, KY with Mort and Blessing placing the contending bid. She was a consignment from Top Acres.

The second high seller was the 2009 Reserve All American and National Bell Ringer Spring Yearling for Junior Member Kelly Lee from Johnson Creek, WI. Selling for $8,100, Mill-Wheel Sol Grenade was purchased by Justin Webster, Laingsburg, MI.

Next in line and selling for $8,000 was Minor Acres Flashback Renee consigned by Richman Farms, Inc. and Paul Keener. Promising more score and show possibilities as a 4 year old for this year, she sold to Richard Indoe, Lodi, OH.

The Midwest Revue was the 40th in this sales series managed by Modern Associates with Darrell Worden and Tim Eiting handling the gavel and Wayne Sliker making announcements. Brian Garrison and Lee Barber worked the ring and the telephones.  Lindsey Rucks, Kelly Lee, Jenna Hoffman and Adam Oswalt presented the cattle in the ring with Connie Sliker and Deb Hoffman clerking.
